Delete your account
You can delete your Heed account, and everything Heed holds about you, at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Deleting your account removes everything Heed holds about you, and any draft that hasn’t been sent is lost. If you only want Heed to stop reading one inbox, disconnect that account instead: Profile, then Gmail accounts.
Delete it in the app
- 1Open Heed on your phone and sign in.
- 2Go to the Profile tab.
- 3Tap Delete account, at the bottom of the screen.
- 4Enter your password and tap Delete my account.
Can’t open the app?
Email support@reactmode.dev from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Heed account”. We’ll confirm it’s you and delete the account within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your Heed account: your name, email address, password and settings.
- Every connected Gmail account, and Heed's access to it, which is revoked at Google first.
- The records of the emails Heed sorted, and every reply draft.
- Your writing style notes, instructions for Heed and sender rules.
- Daily reports, backlog runs and Ask conversations.
- Notifications and your device's push token.
What stays in your Gmail
- Nothing is deleted from Gmail. Heed never deleted mail, and it does not now.
- Mail Heed marked as read stays read, and its labels (Heed, Heed/Handled, Heed/Needs reply) stay until you delete them in Gmail's settings.
- Replies you sent through Heed stay in your Sent folder, like any other email you sent.
Removing Heed from your Google account
Deleting your account revokes Heed’s access for you. You can also remove it yourself at any time, without deleting anything, from your Google account’s third-party access. Heed then stops reading that inbox until you reconnect it.
